) or call the District, 425-788-1625, during business hours.
The Duvall Explorer Post is a program of the Boy Scouts of America and is sponsored by the Duvall Fire Fighters Association. Fire Fighters act as advisors and trainers educating young men and women about the Fire and Emergency Services profession. These young people gain experience in fire related responsibilities in a non-hazardous capacity. After mandatory training classes and skill performance tests, the Explorers are eligible to participate in a ride-along program and observe on emergency responses.
Explorers also help at community events as a part of the Fire Department and participate in other Fire Department activities.
In order to participate, you must be 14 years of age, and in the ninth grade, to 20 years old. You must be willing and able to carry, lift, climb, and crawl per the activities of a fire fighter.
For more information about this exciting opportunity to learn about, and be a part of, the Fire Service, contact us at 425-788-1625.
