There is a lot of work that goes on in a fire department behind the scenes to make sure that emergencies are handled safely and efficiently. We would like to offer the opportunity for interested people, who don’t have the time or interest to be an emergency responder, to volunteer and support the efforts of the fire department in the community. These would be roles that could be tailored to your schedule and interest areas. Or, if you are looking for a one time or ongoing service project for your group (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.), we would be happy to work with you.

Here are some areas where help is needed:

• Facilities maintenance/cleaning
• Landscape maintenance
• Clerical/Office work
• Community Disaster Preparedness
• Public Education
• Must be at least age 21
• Marketing
• Grant writing
